The Story of Thera Genesis
“Your Skin Reflects who you are Mind, Body and Spirit”
As a Homeopath, Esthetican and Educator for over 25 years, women’s health on all of its intriguing levels to also include the health of their skin has always been my truest passion. Throughout my career this passion determined the path of my personal education. Embracing the many aspects involved in the science of aging, homeopathic protocols for the treatment of chronic disease in women and a natural health approach to the treatment of mental health, what followed was the desire to continue teaching and share this wealth of information with other women and spa professionals.
Combining this holistic approach to health and wellbeing and caring for the skin with ethically produced quality skin products, ultimately it is reflected in a clear and vibrant skin. However, in embracing such an approach throughout a woman’s advancing years not only does it reflect beauty from the inside out but research has clearly identified that it is an important part of managing the hormonal journey and therefore the management of aging skin.
As I embraced my personal journey through the decades, experiencing the psychological and physiological changes and understanding the science of aging skin it has all influenced the choices for this skin care collection. Organic botanicals that are perfectly paired with modern, science based ingredients in well balanced formulations, that have all come together to create a powerful, results driven, clinical approach to skin care. Thera Genesis is therefore for all women that care for their skin and are seeking results in the form of pre-juvenation in their 30’ and 40’s and rejuvenation in their 50’s and 60’s.
Professionally, these products have been designed to meet the needs of Medical Spas and Day Spas alike to compliment and enhance the outcome of treatments such as peels, microdermabrasion, laser, IPL and other restorative and corrective treatments.

TheraGenesis Retinol Designed for 50 + Fabulous Women
In chatting with Trish from TheraGenesis, we learned that as women pass through menopause there is a decrease in estrogen and progesterone which leads to a decrease in the production of stem cells. These decreases begin to negatively impact a postmenopausal woman’s ability to recover from aggressive skin care treatments. There is also a shortening of the telomeres on the DNA strands which becomes problematic for menopausal women.
Trish even has a list of treatments to avoid. Instead, she suggests a list of treatments that help these women build their skin. This also makes it hard for menopausal women to tolerate many of the more common active ingredients, like Retinol, that haven’t been formulated for the specific needs of menopausal women.
